For decades I've operated at intersections that other people experience as separate industries.

Action sports and music. Music and video games. Video games and broadcast. Broadcast and brand. Brand and live experience. Live experience and performance science.

Same job in every chapter. Get in the middle of where culture is actually happening. Take the risk. Be early enough that the room you're in is small enough to matter.

Now running in health, wellness, performance, and the next generation of consumer brands. Along the way, I've served as President of the Board of Gamers Outreach, a nonprofit that brings gaming to kids in hospitals.

The Career

Every chapter started the same way: I saw the room before anyone found it.

1997–2003

Music, action sports, and games, before they were a category.

Started working X Games and music venues in high school. Action sports, live music, and gaming shared an audience but hadn't figured that out yet. Parlayed the crossover into music supervision for video games, including the soundtrack for Tony Hawk's Underground. Won the first MTV Moon Man for Best Video Game Soundtrack.

2004–2008

Before brands took gaming seriously.

First hire on Red Bull's digital marketing team, building a global gaming strategy. Brought Red Bull into Major League Gaming as their first official support of any professional sport league. Signed the first Red Bull-sponsored esports athlete and brokered the first NBA player ownership of an esports team.

2008–2021

Experiential before it had a name.

Built the Lifestyle and Esports divisions at NCompass. Ran flagship work for Red Bull, Activision, Disney, YouTube, Herman Miller, and Neiman Marcus. Call of Duty XP earned a Cannes Silver Lion, the Grand EX Award, and a Gold Effie. Also led brand positioning strategy for Herman Miller and WeWork.

2021–2025

From building for clients to building from inside.

Joined Vindex as SVP Strategy during its fastest growth phase. Part of the executive team through the acquisition by ESL FACEIT Group, then built a global innovation group inside a 1,200-person company. First pipeline. First creator rewards platform. Net-new capability at enterprise scale.

2025–Present

High Concept Advisory.

HCAis a conscious choice. The right partners, spaces that inspire, and new ways to apply what I've learned while gaining entirely new experience along the way. Advisory, building, and capital across health and wellness, entertainment, sports, and experiential marketing.
